Gute Nacht, Harry!

“Tirily! Tirily! I'm alive. ”

Heine's Journey from Munich to Genoa

Love of life and existential pain, the joys and torments of the world, irony and serious feeling: In the stagecoach, Heinrich Heine set off for Italy for fourteen days in August 1828 and wrote down his impressions during his journey.

Victor Maria Diderich and Paula Götz from the acting school “Der Keller” read from the “Journey from Munich to Genoa”. With great feeling and rhythm, the six-person jazz ensemble of the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf under the direction of Paul von Chamier interweaves and comments on the recitation with sometimes melancholy, sometimes moving music.
