Shogo Seifert I Rauke

RAUKE, a project by German-Japanese trumpeter and composer Shogo Seifert living in Berlin, will present the debut album Causes of Imagination as part of the Jazz Thing Next Generations series. On the recording, the extraordinary ensemble combines the sonic elegance of a classical string quartet with the dynamism and openness of a jazz quartet. The compositions fuse the risk-taking and sound aesthetics of contemporary jazz with the subtle gestures of classical music to create a unique musical language.
