Shuteen Erdenebaatar Quartet

Shuteen Erdenebaatar, born in Ulan Bator, is an award-winning composer and pianist who stands out with her unique melodies and profound harmonies. She began her musical education as a classical musician and later switched to jazz music, where she found her own voice. Erdenebaatar won numerous awards, including the German Jazz Prize 2024 and the BMW Young Artist Jazz Award 2022. Her compositions have been performed by leading orchestras and she leads several world-class ensembles. In 2023, she signed a contract with Motema Music, and her first album Rising Sun was released with great success.
