How do you keep a band running for years without losing the fun (or yourself)? At Music Business Q&A, three members of Searching for Home (1st Sparda Jazz Award 2023) provide honest insights into 10 years of band history somewhere between jazz and pop — unfiltered, practical and on equal footing.

It's about everything that keeps a band alive: finding colleagues, making gigs clear, managing finances, making decisions, withstanding resistance — and not losing sight of the human needs within the band. Instead of dry theory, there is open discussion, questions are expressly requested, and all experiences can be shared.

A workshop for anyone who wants to enter or establish themselves in the live industry. And for anyone who wants to know what it really means to build a band in the long term — realistically, thoughtfully and with a good dose of humor.
