Armenian folklore is seamlessly woven into a modern sound of neo soul, R'n'B and jazz. An interplay of melancholy and energy, spherical sounds and groove creates a characterful blend, nourished by the musical and cultural backgrounds of the seven musicians around singer Yelena Mashkaryan. Inspired by rich traditions, the result is a network of hymnal melodies, complex harmonics and infectious grooves, which also breathes new life into Armenian folk songs.
