The 5-time Grammy® Award-winning pianist and composer Bill Laurance seemingly effortlessly combines a wide variety of musical styles. Originally trained classical pianist, as a founding member of Snarky Puppy, Laurance has been demonstrating his unique creativity and enthusiasm for improvisation for many years.

His diverse work includes advertising compositions for Apple, film soundtracks such as “Un Traductor” (2018) and collaborations with renowned ensembles such as the WDR Big Band and the Metropole Orkest.
He recently released the highly acclaimed album “Where You Wish You Were” (ACT Music) together with Michael League. His latest release “Affinity” is an homage to jazz pianist Bill Evans and shows Laurance's quest for individual interpretations, with the piano remaining the unifying constant in his versatile work.
