Mathieu Clement Quartet

Born in Luxembourg, Mathieu Clement moved to Cologne in 2019 to start his studies at HfMT. Today he is 22 and is currently exchanging ideas in Amsterdam.
He has already appeared as a sideman with Tamara Lukasheva, Matthias Schriefl, Pablo Held, Robert Landfermann, Jakob Bänsch and others. At the beginning of 2023, his debut album “Coming Home” will be released on Double Moon Records in the “Jazz Thing Next Generation” series. After concerts in Luxembourg, Germany and Austria, the young band is now meeting again in Düsseldorf to present a new program, which includes, among other things, reinterpretations of the songs on the album, but also new compositions from the past few months. Get ready for hard swing, romantic melodies, and enthralling grooves.
