“Painted Jazz” presents the artistic interpretation of 50 Blue Note album covers by Dietrich Rünger, an outstanding artist and graphic designer from Düsseldorf. These redesigned covers combine photography, collages, studies, paintings and contemporary typography and offer a fascinating insight into the world of jazz and visual art.
The exhibition is not only an homage to the legendary Blue Note Records, but also a celebration of the creative connection between music and art. With his works, Rünger creates a bridge between the worlds of sound and colors and invites viewers to experience the power and passion of jazz in a visually appealing way.
Visitors are cordially invited to visit the exhibition from June 7 to 13, 2024 during the following opening hours:
Monday to Thursday from 17:00 to 21:00 and Friday to Sunday from 12:00 to 21:00
